Cambodian Marine Mammal Conservation Project (CMMCP) is monitoring the population of Irrawaddy dolphin and dugongs in areas with high-fishing pressure and different degrees of protection. They do this in collaboration with local fishermen. This work provides the data necessary for local policy makers to protect more areas on the coast.
