Mediterranean Monk Seals

The project is protecting the critically endangered Mediterranean monk seal in Turkey. This is the only seal native to the Mediterranean Sea. With a combination of targeted outreach activities and cave monitoring studies, the team hopes to preserve the Turkish coastline as a safe haven for Mediterranean monk seals.
