Plan Bee for Mangroves works to protect and restore mangroves in Haiti. The project is trying to reduce the unsustainable harvesting of mangroves by helping set up apiculture (honey production) businesses, providing an alternative source of income to the local communities; while restoring harvested areas with the community, planting seedlings and using a plastic free approach.
